The #1 non-acidic vitamin C brand in the Philippines, FERN-C bagged the prestigious World Branding Awards at the Kensington Palace, London last Sept 20.
FERN-C is the first Filipino brand to win in the Vitamin Category in what is known to be the “Ultimate Global Branding Accolade.”
FERN Inc. president and CEO, Tommanny Tan received the award during the formal gala. “Being Brand of the Year is a testament of the hardwork we devoted over the years. From a start-up business we became the top-of-mind brand for consumers thanks to the efforts of our distributors, employees and shareholders. Being brand of the year also signifies that FERN-C has indeed become a global brand,” Tan said.
For more than a decade, FERN-C’s reputation spread through the word-of-mouth of users who can attest to, and firmly believe in FERN, thus, the brand became the dominant market leader in the sodium ascorbate vitamin C segment in the Philippines. Winning the World Branding Awards is a testament of how through the years, these FERN-C users have remained loyal – and how its following continue to grow.
The World Branding Awards is organized by the World Branding Forum – a non-profit organization that aims to honor the achievements of the world’s leading brands. The award giving body screens nominees through a strict set of criteria based on brand valuation, public online voting and consumer research.
Other recipients of the award are iconic international names such as Mcdonald’s, Prada, Hermes, Facebook and Coca-Cola. Among the Filipino brands, FERN-C joins the ranks of SM Supermalls, Jollibee, Petron and Tanduay.
